Humans have spent a long time changing wild plants to crops that can be used in our lives. Continuous improvement of crops is essential for our sustainable future in changing environments. This research seeks new directions in crop improvement (breeding) by using genetics and mathematical models. In particular, we aim to contribute to breeding by understanding the novel traits of unused rice genetic resources with mathematical models and developing ways to use them with molecular genetics.<\/p>\n
